Montonio payments integration

Bookla's integration with Montonio allows you to securely process payments for bookings using Montonio's payment infrastructure. This guide covers setting up Montonio payment processing for your Bookla services, handling payment events through webhooks, and managing the payment lifecycle within your booking flow. Before proceeding with the integration, ensure you have an active Montonio account and access to your API keys.

Enabling Montonio Payments Plugin​

To start accepting payments through Montonio, you need to enable the Montonio Payments plugin in your Bookla account. Follow these steps to set up the plugin:

  1. Log in to your Bookla Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the "Plugins" section.
  3. Click on "+ Add plugin" to see all available plugins.
  4. Locate the "Montonio" plugin and click "Add".
  5. Now, Montonio menu item will appear in the sidebar.

Configuring Montonio Settings​

After enabling the Montonio plugin, you need to configure your Montonio account settings in Bookla. Follow these steps to set up your Montonio integration:

  1. Click on the "Montonio" menu item in the sidebar.
  2. Click "+ Start connecting" to begin the setup process.
  3. Enter the following details:
  • Access Key: Your Montonio access key. You can obtain this from your Montonio merchant dashboard.
  • Secret Key: Your Montonio secret key. You can obtain this from your Montonio merchant dashboard.
  • Success Redirect URL: The URL where customers will be redirected after a successful payment.
  • Locale: Select your preferred language for the payment interface (options: en, de, lv, lt, et, fi, pl, ru).
  1. Click "Connect" to complete the setup.
