How to Integrate Bookla Standalone Component into WordPress
By adding the Bookla standalone component to your WordPress site, you can offer your customers a smooth and seamless online booking experience.
It’s simple to set up, doesn’t require any coding, and you can manage it all easily from your WordPress dashboard.
Note
This tutorial works for WordPress Business and Commerce plans, as well as self-hosted WordPress websites. Unfortunately, it won’t work for WordPress.com free users, since it’s not possible to add plugins on this plans.
How to add the Bookla Standalone Component into WordPress
- Go to your WordPress dashboard, then click "Plugins" -> "Add Plugin".
- Search for the "WPCode" plugin and click "Install Now".
- Click "Activate".
Note
You can use another plugin if it is more convenient for you.
- Click "Code Snippets".
- Click "Add New".
- Click "Add Custom Snippet" and then "Universal Snippet".
- Add your Bookla WEB widget code here and click "Save Snippet".
- Scroll down, click "Shortcode", copy the code, activate the snippet, and click "Update".
You can find and edit the Bookla Web widget code here:

- Go to "Appearance" -> "Editor".
- Click "+", then select "Shortcode".
- Paste your shortcode here and click "Save".
That’s it for adding the Bookla widget to WordPress.
Now we can test the widget.
Test the widget
- Go to your website.
- Select a date, resource, and time, then click "Continue".
- Enter your first name, last name, and email, then click "Book now".
